Does the type a Botulinum toxin, or Botox®, work?

The type A botulinum toxin, or BOTOX®, produces a weakening of the muscles that cause expression wrinkles due to their contractile action, mainly on the area next to the eyes. This is the area on which the toxin has its best effect, because it will relax the orbicular and frontal muscles that are responsible for the so-called ¨crow's feet ¨ and the wrinkles of the forehead, respectively. It will also be useful in the treatment brow wrinkles.

Is BOTOX® a safe procedure?
